An independent oil marketer in Gwagwalada area council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Jibrin Labaran has assured the people of the council that he will create more employment opportunities for the youths.
Labaran said he would complement government efforts toward ending fuel scarcity in the area. He assured residents of the council and environs that the company will ensure that the products are dispensed within the stipulated government approved price.
He enjoined government to ensure adequate supply of fuel to depots across the country, tackle pipeline vandalism and make refineries functional saying that the acts would tackle the problem of hoarding and activities of black marketers.
Labaran also urged the present administration to embark on the privatization of the downstream sector so that prices of petroleum products would be determined by market forces of demand and supply.
He lauded government recent decision on the total removal of fuel subsidy and called on members of the public to always support government policies that have direct bearing on the life of the common man.
