My Father Was Unfairly Treated By Some Adamawa Politicians – Sen Nyako

Senator Abdul-Aziz Murtala Nyako

The eldest son of former governor Murtala Nyako of Adamawa and a serving senator representing Adamawa Central Senatorial Zone AbdulAziz Murtala Nyako has disclosed that his father has been unfairly treated by some politicians who wanted to destroy his entire life achievements for the sake of scoring a political goal against him.

The senator in an emotion laden voice noted with concern how some politicians fabricated allegations of theft against his father for the expediency of removing him from office noting that all conscientious Nigerians must put their hands on deck to ensure that impunity is killed in the country otherwise the ills bedeviling the country would never be redressed.

Senator Nyako who was full of praises for the Judicial arm of government for quashing the illegal impeachment of his father noted that for the umpteenth time, the judiciary has shown itself as the last hope of the common man.

He noted that in their quest to tarnish the enviable track record the patriarch of his family has achieved, some conscienceless politicians came up with phantom allegations against his father and without recourse to the rule of law staged his illegal removal from office noting that God has in his infinite mercy vindicated his father through the epochal judgement.

The Senator noted that “this generation of politicians have been unfair to my father whom dedicated all his life serving the country,” He noted that right from his hey days Nyako has been working assiduously for the progress of Nigeria culminating in his supreme sacrifice of fighting the Nigeria’s civil war at a tender age of 25 for the country to remain one and indivisible entity only for some people to try to rubbish all his achievements for the sake of achieving devious political goals.
